Lisp effect for characters and voiceovers. #audio #sounddesign #izotope #games #iphone #mobile

Lisp voice processing for characters using the Denoiser plugin from izotope.http://www.izotope.com/products/audio/rx/

I found this by accident when cleaning up some voice over work. If you are familiar with the iZotope plugins you’ll find this quite amusing. Setup your DAW with a voice over track and add the Denoiser plugin. Turn on the “output only” button and adjust the sliders (db and smoothing) so that the audio coming through reacts therefore leaving out the beginning and end of speech (lisp effect). I understand that this is abstract thought but messing/experimenting I now have a cool effect for character voices for my mobile games. If you have questions I’ll do my best to answer them.
